Petzl Karabiner AM’D Triact Lock. The asymmetrical Am’D aluminium carabiner has a D-shape specially suited for connection to various climbing equipment like as descenders or positioning lanyards. Its fluid interior design and Keylock system facilitates easy manipulation to suit multiple positions. The Petzl Karabiner AM’D Triact Lock can be connected to the CAPTIV bar to favour positioning of the carabiner along the major axis and limit the risk of it flipping to keep it integrated with the device. The carabiner’s fluid interior design which limits the risk of having a catch point and facilitates rotation of the carabiner. An H profile also ensures an improved strength-to-weight ratio. The Petzl Karabiner AM’D Triact Lock’s smooth surface design also helps protects markings from abrasion.
